Eva

Dental Hygienist

Since joining our team in 2012, Eva Anderson has been an integral part of our dental family for over a decade. With a degree from Owen’s Community College since 1997, Eva has dedicated her career to the identification, treatment, and education on gum disease, a leading cause of adult tooth loss. Her approach to dental hygiene is deeply rooted in understanding the unique needs of each patient, with a particular fondness for working with senior citizens—her oldest patient was an impressive 104 years old!

Her patient care philosophy rejects a one-size-fits-all approach. Eva believes in personalized care delivered with respect, emphasizing the importance of treating the person, not just the patient. This philosophy has proven both effective and rewarding throughout her career, fostering genuine connections and ensuring tailored care.

Eva’s passions extend beyond the dental chair. In her spare time, she enjoys a variety of activities, including cooking, upholstery, golf, bridge, reading, puzzles, and engaging in sports. Most dear to her heart, however, is spending quality time with her grandchildren. Her culinary tastes lean towards the rich flavors of Mediterranean cuisine, and her current musical preference is the blues-rock sounds of Joe Bonamassa. Eva’s favorite movie, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” reflects her love for humor and the lighter side of life.

A fun fact about Eva? Her own extensive dental treatments as a child sparked her interest in dental hygiene—a personal journey that has come full circle in her dedication to helping others maintain their oral health. Eva’s blend of professional expertise and personal touch makes her a beloved member of our dental care team.
