Clear Aligners in Worthington, Ohio

Want a straighter smile? Clear aligners at Crosswoods Dental help you straighten teeth without metal braces. We offer two trusted options that fit your lifestyle, so you can feel good about your smile.

How Clear Aligners Work

At Crosswoods Dental, our cosmetic dentists use advanced 3D scanning to plan your treatment, no messy impressions.

You’ll wear a series of custom aligners that gently guide your teeth into place. Most patients wear each set for about two weeks, for 20–22 hours per day. You can remove them for eating, brushing, and special occasions.

Most treatment plans take 12–18 months. We’ll see you every 6–8 weeks to check progress and keep everything on track.

Best of all, you can preview your expected results before you start.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I eat and drink while wearing clear aligners?

You’ll remove your aligners to eat and to drink anything besides water. This helps prevent staining and keeps the trays from warping. Rinse your mouth (and trays) before putting them back in.

How do I clean my clear aligners?

Clean your aligners every day. Brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse with lukewarm water before putting them back in. This helps keep them clear and fresh.

Will clear aligners affect my speech?

It’s normal to notice a slight lisp at first. Most people adjust within a few days as their tongue gets used to the trays. Reading out loud for a few minutes a day can help you adapt faster.

What are “attachments,” and will I need them?

Attachments are small, tooth-colored shapes placed on certain teeth to help the aligners grip and guide movement. Not everyone needs them, and the number depends on your case.

What happens after I finish treatment? Do I need a retainer?

Yes. After aligners, you’ll wear a retainer to help keep your teeth from shifting back over time. We’ll review the retainer plan with you at the end of treatment.
